Family Resource centers are another amazing support for those living in Massachusetts. There are a number of family resources located around the commonwealth, you can view a list here. Families can seek services at any location they choose, or utilize multiple locations. Resource centers offer groups for children, teens, and adults, provide opportunities for connection and community, and also provide for tangible (food, clothes, household items) when applicable. The knowledge staff at family resource centers can assist families in accessing services such as the Department of Mental Health (DMH) and the Department of Developmental Services(DDS).
We most often refer families to the Quincy Family Resource Center and work closely with their team. Individuals can reach out to QFRC for services or we can make the referral for you. The Attleboro Family Resource Center is also nearby, and we can refer families to them for assistance.
