Welcome to the Art Page

Grades K through 4

The curriculum will inspire students to use their imagination, reflective thinking and creativity to create a work of art that is based on the elements of design. Students will begin to understand and learn the differences between a work of art and respond to it. They will explore various materials to create both two dimensional and three dimensional art works. Students will understand the importance of observation and imagination in their creations and express themselves visually. We will incorporate math, science, literature, and social studies when possible into the curriculum. Our finished art work will go on display in May during our art shows, details and information will be in the school newsletters.
