School Times

  • Regular Day: 8:50 am - 3:00 pm
  • 1/2 Day Dismissal: 12:07 pm
  • Kindergarten Sessions: 8:50 am - 11:25 am 12:25 pm - 3:00 pm

Student Arrival

Students should arrive for school between 8:45-8:50 AM.  Staff supervise children arriving on buses, walkers, and children being dropped off beginning at 8:45 AM.  If your child is tardy, please have them stop at the office to let Mrs. Holske know.

Cafeteria

Student Lunch costs $2.50.   Milk for cold lunch costs $.50.  Lunch may be purchased online (www.myschoolbucks.com), at the register with cash, or with a check made payable to:  Foxborouogh School Lunch.  Write your child's name in the memo.  

Lunch Schedule

  • Grade 1 — 11:25 am - 11:55 pm     
  • Grade 2 — 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm      
  • Grade 3 — 12:35 pm - 1:05 pm        
  • Grade 4 — 1:10 pm - 1:40 pm 

Children are supervised by 2 lunch monitors. They are brought down and picked up from the cafeteria by their teachers.

Recess

Times vary per grade level, but usually taken after lunch. One teacher supervises two classes (same grade level) during recess.  Every student will have a recess of 15 minutes a day.

Student Departure

 At dismissal (3:00PM) Aftercare students are dismissed to the Media Center first.  Kindergarten through second grade students are then called for dismissal.  Following grades K-2, grades three and four are called for dismissal.  All classroom teachers walk their bus students to the cafeteria and their walkers to the front hall by the office.  Bus students are dismissed from the cafeteria to their buses in order of bus arrival.  Mr. Stanton walks the walkers across the crosswalk to their waiting parents.  If your student's dismissal time (early doctor, dentist appointment, etc.) or routine should change, please notify the teacher in writing or call the school. 

Absences

If your child is going to be absent, please call 543-1691 until 9:30 am. Even if your child is going to be late, please call the same number. After 9:30 am, you can call the 543-1680 number. If your child is going to be out for a long period of time, please contact the teacher and also write a note to the front office with the dates.

Newsletter

A school-wide newsletter publication is sent home on the first Friday of every month and is accessible from the Igo School website.  This publication includes articles from the principal, classroom teachers, the nurse and specialists. It also includes a list of activities that will take place at the school.
