Private Lessons Program
Dear Music Parent,
The Foxboro Music Department sponsors a Private Lesson Program which is currently servicing over 130 students in grades 5 - 12. We have contracted an outstanding staff of professional musicians/teachers, who will be available to interested students at the following fee: $25.00 per 1/2 hour lesson.
The Private Lesson Concept is designed to offer motivated and interested student musicians an opportunity to study their instrument with a professional specialist on a one to one basis. This will not replace existing class lessons and sectionals, where band and orchestra's basic instruction is presented by our school department staff; but offer advanced training in technique, solo literature, and musicianship to students who choose to participate. This type of local program will also help parents avoid transporting students to other towns for private lessons. This program has nurtured thousands of students over the last 35 years. There are currently 22 professional musicians/teachers on the adjunct faculty.
If you are interested in having your child participate in this exciting program, please fill out the form below, click the SUBMIT key, and your information will be emailed directly to our music department. You will be contacted by the private teacher to establish a convenient lesson time. All lessons will be given Monday thru Friday after school in the High School Music Wing. This Private Lesson Program has been approved by the Foxboro School Committee, and is administered by Stephen C. Massey, Director of Music.
