The 2011 – 2012 FHS Marching Band is part of a rich tradition of excellence. The 80 member group performs at all home football games and rallies in the Fall season, and also marches in the annual Memorial Day and founder’s Day Parades in the Spring. This year’s halftime show is entitled “Fever” and features four eclectic pieces recorded by Canadian pop singing sensation. Michael Buble`. The drill design is by Rick Murphy from Tennessee.
Senior Drum Majors, Cooper Vacheron and Mairead Leahy lead the band on the field. The football fans and townspeople have long appreciated the Marching Band’s intensity, school spirit, and powerful sound. The students commit a week in August to rehearse at the Annual Marching Band Summer Camp, and then work very hard to be prepared for the busy Fall season. The group’s mantra “With Pride” is an ongoing source of pride for the entire Foxboro Community.
