The PTO Handbook has gone GREEN!
The PTO Handbook will now be available online (effective Wednesday, September 12) - with hardcopies available upon request to any Board Member. Check out the handbook for information about our upcoming projects, committees, and open chairman and volunteer opportunities.
Yankee Candle Fundraiser
Looking to get an early start on your holiday shopping, or to stock up on some of your favorite fall candles? Watch for your child's Yankee Candle fundraising packet to come home via backpack on Friday, September 14. This fundraiser runs from September 14 through September 28. Participation is always optional, but much appreciated. Last year, the Burrell PTO has earned over $3,800 through the Yankee Candle fundraiser program.
Coach's Birthday Parties
Coach will continue to host birthday parties during the 2012-2013 school year. Parties for 20 children cost $125, with a portion of the proceeds going toward Burrell PTO activities. There is a per person fee for additional guests. Parties take place after school and consist of 1 hour in the gym and 1/2 hour for cake and ice cream. To schedule a party, print out the Birthday Party Form on the Current Fundraisers, Event & Programs page.
PTO News & Notes
PTO News & Notes will continue to be sent home one per family and via the Yahoo Email Network each Wednesday. If you wish to opt out of the paper version, please go to the Current Fundraisers, Events & Programs page and print out a Paper Opt Out Request. Request can be sent to the front office to the school.
If you have a PTO related item that you would like to submit to the weekly newsletter, please contact a Board member with your request.
Yahoo E-Mail Network
The Burrell PTO currently has over 300 email addresses in the Yahoo network. All emails are PTO or school-related and include weekly newsletters, monthly meeting agendas, volunteer opportunities and more.
